A little about me:
Hi! Iām Anna, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate providing telehealth therapy to clients across Texas. My work is grounded in the belief that people are not problems to be fixed, but complex individuals shaped by relationships, systems, experiences, and stories that deserve compassion and curiosity.
Before entering private practice, I worked with adolescents and families in the Denton school system, where I gained experience supporting clients through anxiety, identity development, family stress, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. Alongside my clinical practice, I am currently completing doctoral training in Marriage and Family Therapy, and my academic research focuses on the intersection of identity, family systems, and religious trauma. Together, these experiences continue to shape my collaborative, relational, and non-pathologizing approach to therapy.
I am especially passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those navigating difficult experiences related to identity, relationships, spirituality, or belonging. I strive to create a space that is affirming of all identities, beliefs, spiritualities, and ways of making meaning, where clients feel safe exploring both who they are and the relationships and systems that have shaped their lives.

My approach to therapy:
I view therapy as a collaborative process rather than a one-sided expert relationship. You are the expert on your own life and experiences. My role is to help create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore patterns, relationships, emotions, and narratives that may no longer be serving you.
My work is informed by:
Narrative Therapy
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Family Systems Therapy
LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally responsive care
